Donald M. Rossi is an experienced real estate and land use attorney and a founding member of the Firm. His experience includes all aspects of transactional real estate, land use and development, including like-kind exchanges, site plan and subdivision approvals, special improvement district formation, environmental litigation, Industrial Development Agency financings, industrial, commercial and farm leases, mining operations and horse farm development.
Mr. Rossi was formerly an Associate of James P. Lundy, Esq., then became a partner in the firm of Lundy & Rossi, and its successor firm Rossi & Smith where he was engaged in the private practice of law, with an emphasis on transactional real estate, development, land use and environmental law. On April 1, 1996, he formed the firm of Stephens Hogan & Rossi with the Hon. Willis H. Stephens, Jr. and John J. Hogan, Esq., and in July 1998 formed its successor firm, Hogan & Rossi.
Mr. Rossi served as an Associate to the Attorney for the Town of North Salem, Westchester County, New York, and was responsible for the supervision of matters before the North Salem Town Board, Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals. He also served as special counsel to the Town on Zoning Board matters and In Rem Tax Foreclosure proceedings.
