Employment law comprises one of the busiest segments of the firm’s litigation practice. The firm handles claims involving wrongful termination, workplace discrimination, alleged violations of restrictive covenants (including covenants not-to-compete, of non-solicitation and of non-disclosure), and unemployment insurance issues. The firm also assists employees that have fallen victim to trust fund violations with regard to employee benefit plans under ERISA.
In addition to litigation, the firm actively assists both employers and employees in drafting and negotiating employment agreements for executives and top-level sales people, employee handbooks, and counseling employers on methods to prevent the disclosure of trade secrets and proprietary information.
